Based on its long experience of engineering telecom products and
business software, BSTechnologies has developed Intelligent
Telematics solution, capable of interfacing directly with the
vehicle's electronic and on-board computer-based systems.
This new direction in telematics provides for sophisticated
remote monitoring, telemetry and control of many vehicle
engineering, location and operational parameters - features not
available in any first generation offering that focused primarily
on vehicle location.
BSTechnologies' "next generation" solution is based on two
communications gateway using the Geographical Positioning
Satellites (GPS) and GSM/GPRS networks that brings in a new era in
Mobile Resource Management - MRM.
Chipless RFID
AUTO ID, Automatic identification Systems incorporating the
INKODE "Resonant Signatures™" system is a technological
breakthrough in the use of auto ID. RF Automatic Identification
systems are free from the constraints typical of optical and
magnetic systems, and many of the technology limitations of radio
frequency systems.
Optical bar code systems operate at short range and require
line-of-sight detection. Magnetic systems require contact with
magnetic media and a prescribed orientation of the magnetic strip.
Radio frequency auto ID (RFAID) systems provide high information
density and remote data collection. They are not constrained by
line of sight and read data at greater distances.
Current radio frequency transponder technology utilizes
expensive and bulky targets which, by definition, contain the
information in a format that can be remotely interrogated. This is
due to three requirements of traditional RF ID targets:
- A battery or an antenna structure to power the device
- Integrated circuits for device intelligence and data memory
storage
- Antenna, battery and IC, must be assembled as a card and cased
in plastic
